  1. his archive contains a dictionary for use with Ispell.  The
  2. dictionary is an alternative British dictionary.  To use it with
  3. Ispell:
  4.  
  5.  - Copy the contents of the archive in to the directory containing
  6.    your copy of the !Ispell application.
  7.  
  8.  - Load !Ispell if it is not already loaded.
  9.  
  10.  - Bring up the Choices dialog box from the icon bar menu.
  11.  
  12.  - Clear any contents of the writable icon containing the name
  13.    of the current base dictionary.  This is the upper writable
  14.    icon and it may already be empty.
  15.  
  16.  - Enter the single word British in to this icon.
  17.  
  18.  - Click select on the OK button to use this new dicitonary.
  19.    Click select on the Save button to make this dictionary the
  20.    one to be used when ever !Ispell is loaded.

  22. You can switch back to the previous dictionary by updating the
  23. base dictionary icon in the Choices dialog box to its previous
  24. contents.
